*Organize and support residents to actively participate in planning, land use, and design processes in Roxbury and North Dorchester to ensure that proposed projects meet the community’s needs and vision. *Oversee implementation of programming and advocacy initiatives to help build family assets and strengthen the local economy. *Build collaborations with residents and neighborhood partners on anti-foreclosure and anti-displacement initiatives. *Direct operations of Dudley Neighbors Incorporated, the Community Land Trust established by DSNI to ensure resident control and permanent affordability of property in the neighborhood.

Provide technical assistance to community development organizations on neighborhood and strategic planning, organizational development, media relations, and community organizing strategies. Provide interim senior staffing services including: recruiting, hiring, and supervising staff; writing funding proposals and reports; financial and administrative management; board and committee staffing. Conduct trainings on community organizing, public speaking, community participation in development, leadership development, coalition-building. *Coordinated all aspects of Community Organizing program; supervised four employees and several interns/volunteers;* Organized residents, merchants and community groups to participate in planning processes around vacant land and buildings to ensure full participation in development decisions; created workshops for community meetings to facilitate decision making process and oversee follow-up;*Coordinated community development planning processes for Jackson Square Redevelopment Initiative, Back of the Hill Development, and Blessed Sacrament Church redevelopment; * Lead Organizer for Campaign of Conscience for Affordable Housing, a multi-year organizing and public education campaign to fight displacement of low-income residents, convert vacant land into affordable housing, and increase public funding for affordable housing; campaign successfully prevented displacement of more than 300 families and secured millions of dollars in funding for affordable housing development;*Created and oversaw the Coalition to Educate, Mobilize, and Vote, a collaboration with Hyde Square Task Force and City Life/Vida Urbana, that successfully raised voter turnout rates in Hyde, Jackson, Egleston Square precincts more than 50% over previous levels; *Conducted trainings and workshops for more than 250 neighborhood leaders, including youth, merchants, and tenants; trainings included: Development 101, Meeting with Elected Officials, Legislative Advocacy, Voter Mobilization, Building Resident Leadership, Media/Public Speaking, and How to Participate in Planning Processes;* Played leadership role in city and state-wide advocacy efforts to secure more resources for affordable housing and economic development initiatives, including $100 million Affordable Housing Trust Fund; helped Massachusetts Association of CDCs and Boston Tenant Coalition implement advocacy campaigns;

*Developed and implemented organizing, media and public education campaigns for national family farm organization working to promote sustainable local food systems; *Assisted local farm and rural groups with media, legislative and organizing campaigns; *Designed and carried out Farm Aid's Stop Factory Farms organizing and media campaign; campaign led to the creation of Coalition for Family Farms and the Environment, a national effort that successfully organized against factory farm operations;*Organized rallies, town hall meetings and events to promote Farm Aid message; *Edited and produced newsletter, e-newsletter, brochures; *Coordinated media and program activities at annual benefit concert;*Reviewed proposals, conducted site visits and distributed more than $3 million to farm and rural development projects;
