I have been working in advertising sales and sales management and now publisher in the magazine and digital media industries for over 30 years, specializing in launching, relaunching and running new and established magazines.At present, Publisher of Boulevard Chinese and INDULGE Digest magazines for Black Press. 27 years sales management and advertising sales for BC Home and Garden magazine, Alberta Home magazine, the Chinese edition of BC Home magazine and bcliving.ca, at Canada Wide Media. Launched Boulevard Chinese and INDULGE magazines. Launched the advertising division for BC Home magazine, three years later Alberta Home Magazine and then the Chinese edition of BC Home magazine in 2010, which lead to developing a new and very successful showroom distribution strategy for the Home Group Division of Canada Wide Media. The Chinese edition of BC Home Magazine was the first Chinese ethnic magazine published by a Canadian company.Managed the advertising sales for BC’s highest selling publication, TV Week magazine, Account Manager for 8 years and Sales Manager for 9 years as well as launching a Home Theatre magazine in the early 1990’s. Contributed as sales trainer at Canada Wide Media and for 3 years. Sat on the Advisory Committee Board for the Communications Division of the British Columbia Institute of Technology. Have been a frequent guest speaker in the past for the Sales and Communications departments at BCIT.
