In this job I assembled ducting and did onsite duct fittings when needed. This gave me an insight in the duct industry as I knew exactly what happened when it arrived at the factory to being installed for the customer(s).

In this job I learnt lots about carpentry and general building works. I fitted kitchens, hung doors, fitted floorboards, took down walls and replaced RSJ beams.

In this job I worked for experience which enabled me to finish my college qualification. I carried out single floor extensions, flat roofs, hipped roofs, three dormers with gable end roofs and guttering.

In this job I shadowed and helped a carpenter carry out daily tasks and jobs. I painted walls, repaired and plumbed sinks, fitted kitchens, hung doors, replaced architraves and skirting, guttering and replaced glass windows.

In this job I worked as a shop assistant in the evenings and weekends. I would do this after my work at Benville Marsh during the day. This gave me an insight into the retail industry and helped me learn and develop people skills, for example how to speak to customers.

In this job I shadowed and helped an electrician with the tasks and jobs needed to be completed. This was a job that I worked in college holidays.
