AJA Joint Venture is a partnership between Agrivert, The Jardine Engineering Corporation and Alchmex delivering the design, build and operation of Hong Kong's second food waste AD plant.

I originally led Agrivert’s commercial transition from waste water treatment to municipal food and organic waste recycling. Led a commercial team that contracted with the largest portfolio of municipal organic waste contracts in the UK. This underpinned the financing and construction of Agrivert’s own portfolio of composting and anaerobic digestion plants. I played an instrumental role in selling the operating assets in 2018 and have since been leading commercial and operational activities for the company.

Recruited as the Sales Director, and in my second year as Operations Director, I gained a wide insight into the plant hire access business. As Sales and Operations Director, my brief was to focus on business profitability. During my time at Nationwide Access, profitability soared, contributing to a doubling of shareholder value.

I joined DHL on its fast-track management scheme and then ran a large London operations depot. I then took on a General Manager role for the London area, which later extended to cover the South East and Midlands. DHL made a number of acquisitions, and I was asked to lead the ground operations integration team.

Commissioned into the Gloucestershire Regiment from RMA Sandhurst, my first posting was in Berlin prior to the fall of the Berlin Wall. I then completed three tours of Northern Ireland during the Troubles, as well as postings in Central America and Australia.
