I am currently Assistant Manager at Cardiff West Enterprise, a 7 day flagship branch. My role consists of the day-to-day running of a branch that has a growing fleet of cars, maximising revenue whilst minimising costs. My role consists of the day-to-day running of a branch that has a growing fleet of cars, maximising revenue whilst minimising costs. I am fully invested in training of other employees and leading from the front, alongside progressing my own learning and developing personal skills to improve my performance within the role. Dealing with all different types of customers, dealerships, businesses, insurance companies and other employees, the role requires a large amount of customer service experience. I am also involved in marketing within the local area, developing relationships with bodyshops, garages, and prospecting to new businesses to develop new accounts. I also have experience with cost control; chasing debt and invoices is something required to increase profitability within the branch. The role also requires a large amount of durability, working long hours in order to meet deadlines, provide great customer service and to perform to the highest standard possible.The role within Enterprise offers a huge amount of exposure to many different areas of business management; working with other employees to ensure the branch is run as efficiently and as profitable as possible, with employee development and customer service being the forefront of any decision. Having previously worked as a delivery driver, I decided to convert to an instore team member due to the purchase of a new car which would not be suitable for the role. My role as an instore involves the preparation of orders that the store receives, taking orders from customers that telephone the store, serving customers that come in to the store and the general tidying of the store. My role as room attendant whilst working for Travelodge involved the process of stripping and cleaning each necessary room after a customer had departed. This had to be done within a certain time limit, and to company standard. As well as cleaning vacant rooms, it was also my role to assist any staying customers with any cleaning or extra products they may need in order to make their stay as enjoyable as possible.
