In September 2020, I stepped into the role of Future Farming Manager, building upon the knowledge of the shortfalls of agricultural sustainability I had developed in my previous role as Trials Coordinator. In this role, I am now responsible for driving the regenerative agricultural programme at Cambs Farms, pursuing the annual reduction in the use of agricultural chemicals and soil erosion to enhance biodiversity and carbon sequestration in the UK farming sector.

In April I took on the role of Trials Coordinator at G's, Europe's largest salad producer and one of the largest fresh produce providers on the continent. In the role, I am responsible for setting up and analysing the trials across the Cambs group, looking at increasing the sustainability of our growing operations by working to reduce fertilizer and water inputs, whilst increasing biodiversity and the resilience of our soil-borne communities.

Farm Management Graduate at G's, rotating placements developing field scale methods of sustainable agriculture, producing fresh vegetables and salads for the global market. My first placement at the company is in developing a new irrigation system to limit the water and fertiliser usage in the UK-wide production of celery. I have recently begun a placement as trials coordinator for the whole farm approach, trialling methods to improve the sustainability of the growing systems feeding the global market.

Biology Masters Undergraduate with a broad range of understanding and research areas. My masters research project and literature review aimed to test the effect of temperature on the development of ticks, and looked at finding any causal link between global warming and the increase of tick borne diseases. I have also completed research projects on the effect of human development on biodiversity and the ability to reduce drought tolerance in agriculturally important crop species.

Due to my easy-going and approachable teaching style I was offered the opportunity to work with children with a range of physical and learning disabilities which has allowed me to significantly prove my communication skills. I have also worked in an administrative role at the office for the company during summer vacations and staff maternity leave.

Volunteer at the Royal Free Charity, specialising in nursing on the acute geriatric ward working with dementia sufferers. Responsibilities included assisting full time NHS staff with nursing responsibilities, including ensuring the finest level of care was given to patients with limited verbal communication. The summer programme culminated with a research paper published on reducing the time spent in hospital for dementia patients.

During the internship I became accustomed to pitching to prospective partners and working to increase downloads by advertising companies and users alike.
