Team Management: Led a team of who are responsible for the day-to-day processing and settlement of JP Morgan’s corporate FX business. The team is required to agree and settle Gross and Netted FX deals totalling over $5Bio worth of FX settlement risk each day. I am directly responsible for the day to day oversight of the team. Ensuring deliverable goals are set and achieved in monthly 1-2-1s, adhoc check ins, half year and end of year performance reviews and also ensuring the team is correctly staffed by having a direct hand in the hiring process. Day to Day Risk Control: I am responsible for maintaining a daily process to ensure 100% of settlements are made on time.. I have full oversight of a controls checklist that has been updated to ensure all new regulations are met. I am directly responsible for the team that processes over 500 FX deals daily with each payment averaging roughly $10mio in value. These deals can range from company salaries and tax payments to more complex and risk heavy Mergers and Acquisitions. Within this I have to ensure the team are following the correct processes including but not limited to relevant currency cutoffs, Screenshots of actions taken and proof of approval by lines of credit and risk. My team and myself are required to ensure we are following all SOPs and processes to ensure we are meeting the agreed processes set in place by Audit, controls and the regulators. Weekly Global Risk Metrics calls: I am responsible for collating and providing verbal and written updates for agedoutstanding FX and Option deals to be processed for the corporate FX Clients in EMEA. This is to global senior stakeholders (VPs and EDs) across 4 global hubs: Asia, EMEA, NA and Buenos Aires on a weekly basis to ensure the relevant KPIs are kept in line with Global policies. I have to provide comprehensive updates on outstanding dollar value, actions taken and potential risks.

Trading Risk Daily Support: Daily support for multiple equity swap trading desks, USD, SCA, EUR GBP etc. Managing their risk, PNL and providing an overall support function to ensure that the trades were booked correctly to ensure timely settlement downstream. These include Value date, notional amount, rate, direction. Conversations with sales, trading and different middle and back office functions were part of the day to day to ensure the firm's risk was effectively managed.Daily Reconciliation: I managed the daily reconciliation of the Predicted PNL (Profit Net Loss) vs the Actual for theabove-mentioned desks, this included ensuring that the trading desks predict vs the actual value was correctly calculated toensure that the correct risk was being traded on for the day. This has a tight deadline as trading starts at 7.30am so itsparamount this is tied up at the earliest possibility. Trade amendments would be made and the desk made aware if therewere any issues that could impact their PNL.Communication with Senior Stakeholders: I communicated frequently with senior traders. Relationships weredeveloped and maintained through building rapport, as well as consistently delivering on promises, goals andexpectations. I ensured that their risk and PNL was managed correctly, issues were raised in a timely manner to ensurethey were resolved effectively whilst ensuring their expectations were managed during investigation processes.Training: I would frequently provide effective coaching to new starters with the daily management of the trading books,how to conduct a reconciliation of the PnL as well as closing the trading books at day end. I also implemented a newdaily process to help structure the day as well as new materials to support their onboarding. This ensured the tasks werecompleted but to also help new starters understand the requirements of the role.
