To enhance the role of local civil society in service delivery and in constructive cooperation with local authorities (LAs) in order to contribute to the positive development of Rakhine State. • Ensure strong coordination and development of relationships with government, local authorities, and civil society organizations including youth and women. • Represent Search Myanmar and the project in coordination, advocacy and information sharing efforts in Sittwe, Yangon and Nay Pyi Taw. • Manage effective project implementation in partnership with Scholar Institute in constructive manner, including sub-awards to partners.• Lead a strong and healthy project team under Search Myanmar and work in strong partnership with Scholar Institute team. • Ensure excellent and timely project cycle management and prepare detailed and effective project planning, including developing and executing detailed work plans and budget projections. • Oversee and lead community engagement, trainings, service delivery platforms and sub-grants, youth innovation labs, and communication campaigns on service delivery issues.• Work closely with the DM&E team to ensure reflective learning and capturing of expected results and to contribute to both project and internal institutional learning.• Develop and maintain excellent relationships with all stakeholders including government, media, local civil society, women and youth.• Ensure adherence to Search policies and procedures by all project team members.• Provide capacity building and support to project team and partners.• Keeps abreast of and navigate the context and dynamics in target locations. • Ensure regular reflection on project planning and implementation building up changing power dynamics of project stakeholders • Also undertake other duties that are broadly in line with the above key responsibilities.

The Nippoin Foundation funded Saetanar’s Education for Peace and Development Project- Saetanar- (http://www.saetanar.org) has been working to promote Peace and Development in Shan and Kayah States through school building construction and improvement of school facilities based on the principle that a sustained basic education is indispensable for the progress of a community. Furthermore, Saetanar also facilitated the projects to secure income that would support a continuous school operation and improve local people’s lives. Saetanar has constructed and managing 300 schools benefiting many students and communities across the states. As a public relationship officer, I have carried out following tasks. • Established and maintain strong and regular liaison with the project/program partners, such as governmental and non-governmental authorities, international and local organizations • Established and maintain strong and regular liaison with the newspapers, TV and radio stations, news agencies, in order to inform the public, promote Saetanar activities and events• Collected and prepared, in a timely manner, focused, highly readable written materials, information for websites and promotional videos, ensuring consistent visibility of Saetanar activities • Taken part in the planning, coordination and preparation of all events organized by Saetanar, such as seminars, press conferences, meetings, presentations etc;

ASEAN humanitarian Task Force was formed after the Foreign Minster Meeting on 19 May 2008 to have ASEAN led mechanisms (which later formed as TCG, Triparttie Core Groups) to facilitate trust, confidence and cooperation between Myanmar and the international community in the urgent humanitarian relief and recovery work after Cyclone Nargis hit Myanmar. Under that mechisms, there had many early recovery projects * Surveyed , Assessed the needs of the communities for the Community Based Early Recovery Projects by ASEAN HTF * Coordinated and Facilitated the Projects on constructing houses, renovating the religious buildings for cyclone shelters, schools, Pounds and Well in the communities* Coordinated and monitored the boat building projects, Distributing the necessary input to create better livelihoods, * Coordinated and reported to Donors, United Nations, ASEAN visitors and townships level coordination bodies * Coordinated and facilitated other necessary tasks between the communities and projects team( composed of volunteers form ASEAN nations) to be more effective and efficient
