BLDG - Venture StudioIn my current role as Co-Founder BLDG, we’ve put together a team, an ecosystem and a playbook to build startups that radically outperform the market. We roll up the sleeves and work with passionate founders to build tech-driven, foundationally strong and predictably succeeding businesses. Our goal is to produce 3 to 5 new B2B SaaS companies a year. Current BLDG portfolio includes: Outset, a predictive revenue forecasting and planning platform and HLX Consulting, a B2B SaaS Consulting AgencyPrior to BLDG ​​I was an executive at CAKE Software, CAKE is cloud-based marketing solutions for CMO’s at advertisers, networks and publishers to track, attribute and optimize their digital spend. I was responsible for overseeing all revenue, business operations and strategy. CAKE was acquired by Constellation Software company (TSE: CSU) in the Perseus Operating Group. Post acquisition I had the pleasure of spending the next 4 years helping acquire, integrate and operate companies for the Perseus Operating Group at Constellation Software, Inc. Prior to my time at CAKE and Constellation I built and worked with several other B2B SaaS companies as an executive or founder helping drive profitable growth and in four cases finding an exit. Beyond the joys of building software companies, I enjoy family time, exploring Southern California's diverse activities with my wife and three children.
