With over 15 years of experience as a journeyman ironworker, I have developed a strong expertise in steel fabrication, welding, rigging, and safety. I have also served as a trustee for the Village of Plainfield since 2019, where I have contributed to the development and implementation of business growth, community development, policies, and budgets for the local community. In 2023, I was elected as a state representative for the 97th district of Illinois, representing the interests and needs of my constituents at the state level. As a state representative, I work with my colleagues across the political spectrum to advance legislation that supports the economic, social, and environmental well-being of Illinoisans. I am passionate about advocating for workers' rights, education/special education, affordable and accessible child care, veterans, infrastructure, and health care, and I bring a different and inclusive perspective to the Illinois House of Representatives.
