During the period of internship at Rakuten, I was utilizing Python as the main tool to solve problems. More specifically, I used one of its modules, Selenium, to write programs to automate internal websites in order to save time from manual maintenance. Moreover, I collected external data by scraping websites and internal data by executing SQL scripts on databases, and cleaned them by using Pandas module. Last but not least, I calculated the frequency of words that were searched on Rakuten’s website to understand which popular products customers were currently interested in.
