Working with a small Lettings Business to tidy up various aspects of the business, to help create consistent branding, introduce procedures, amend and tighten up contracts, introduce software and property technology systems.

Having worked as a lettings negotiator for 3 years, I have developed my skills to become the New Business Manager at Braemore Property Management. My goals are to bring new business to the company, increase awareness and develop the Braemore brand and build up my own network of clients.Using my experience of the Edinburgh housing market, I am able to give new landlords, both professional and accidental, an informed insight into the lettings market.Braemore is an established company within Edinburgh and through my role, I will help give Braemore greater prominence in the market.With the monthly events organised by myself through Braemore, I aim to substantially grow my network of contacts, which will reap great benefits for our landlord base.

In this role, my main goals were to let properties for the landlords of Braemore. This involved wide range of skills from taking enquiries, viewings, tenant vetting and successfully letting properties to quality tenants to marketing, appraisals and keeping landlords informed with the market conditions.I achieved great success here, regularly hitting targets, whilst keeping up the professional and quality service that Braemore offers both to our landlords and tenants.Working in a lettings team, we were focused on making sure we got the right tenant for the right property. Our statistics for letting flats are incredible (including extremely quick time to let figures, minimal void periods and virtually no bad debt), which were a result of hard work and attention to our clients needs.The 3 years of doing this particular role within the company helped me generate a greater understanding and knowledge of the lettings market, which I can now take forward and develop.
