As CFO, I modeled both firms. ensured transaction approval, negotiated agreement, integrated both entities, migrated product manufacturing to Yuri’s outsource provider then integrated all finance and admin functions. Succeeded in completing acquisition to schedule that enabled increased gross margins, with better development control, and with fully integrated products into sales and marketing processes, to unlock acquisition by Lucent Corp. for $1.1bn, 96 times net income. In my career I have also operated as a Board Member for >25 years, aiding both public and private company Boards as an Independent Director, and also as a representative of a private equity firm. I excel at supporting companies at their earliest stage of development, through to more mature stages of growth.At Qumulo, I joined the Board in 2013, at its development stage with no revenues, and an enterprise value of $18m. When my Board service ended in 2020, they were generating >$50m AR, with an enterprise value of $1bn. At Informax, when I joined the Board in 1999, they had just introduced its commercial product, and over the next 3 years, I provided oversight to enabled an IPO of its stock in 2000, and to complete an acquisition in 2002.
