Harry Dhaliwal brings a wealth of experience to his roles as Managing Director with First-Step Group Limited and Franchisee for Belvoir Sales and Lettings. His areas of expertise include the Private Rented Sector (PRS), residential and commercial properties, property development, whilst he also has an eye for strong design and effective marketing.Harry started his career in the property sector with a role in the Dhaliwal family business, and was behind the successful expansion of retail outlets into hospitals, universities and railways stations, on a national scale. During this time, Harry invested successfully in property, while his work also saw the Olive Delicatessen in Manchester city centre win awards for its architecture, effective use of space and range of products. Since 2007 Harry has been Managing Director of First-Step Group Limited, a member of the House Builders Federation based in Manchester. His role revolves around maintaining an established and influential management team, developing new relationships with stakeholders, third party consultants, local authorities and governing bodies, as well as overseeing the legal responsibilities of the company. Harry facilitates the smooth acquisition of new land and development sites, authorising all financial expenditure and working with banks and administrators to achieve high percentage yield returns on investments in property. First-Step Group Limited was shortlisted for the prominent Oxford Road development scheme along with other major redevelopment companies, whilst their Louisa Street development was identified by the Homes and Communities Agency (HCA) as a strong example of a successful regeneration scheme, and was recently visited by Secretary of State Greg Clark. Elsewhere in the property sector, Harry is a Franchise Manager for three Belvoir Sales and Lettings branches, based in Manchester city centre and the surrounding area.
