Responsible for directing, planning, and apportioning the work of employees, coaching, and assessing performance. Manage pre-construction activities and negotiate contracts. Ensure that work processes, standards and master plan are in conformance, and that schedules are adhered to. Review work orders, projects, manage outside plant construction and/or rebuild activities, including management of first level managers, schedulers and support teams. Manage budget and expense control for North Alabama.

Managed day-to-day construction activities such as the placing, splicing, rearrangement, and removal of outside plant facilities. Provided technical and administrative support for subordinates (Outside Technical Employees) responsible for construction placing, splicing and repairs in both rural and metro areas. Ensured that work processes, standards and master plans were in conformance, and that schedules adhered to.

Supervise and support switch/cell site, installation and maintenance, provisioning, dispatch, and testing activities at the customer site or a company location for POTS, Specials Services, Designed Services, or Data Services. Supervised a team of installation and maintenance technicians to ensure that all functions of their job were performed in a timely fashion to meet customer and company specifications. Plan, organize and direct all operations with respect to installation support, service, and major moves, adds, and changes. Interface with customer on-site, install, test, and adjust equipment as necessary to maintain the continuation of service revenue in assigned territory.
