About Harry Hall
Few are taught public speaking skills, which is why the majority fail. We wouldn't consider asking someone to read before teaching the discipline, but we think nothing of putting an untrained speaker in front of an audience and expect them to succeed. I bring 25 years experience in public speaking from radio to the platform and the classroom to show people how to develop public speaking skills. Many of these lessons are chronicled in my book, "Help! Everyone is Staring at Me." We help clients develop all aspects of speaking, from memorable storytelling techniques to adding personality and humor to a speech. We work with sales representatives, entrepreneurs, CEOs, or anyone else looking to advance their careers with improved communication skills. In the late 19th century, a small group of professional women endurance walkers (pedestriennes) dazzled America with their on and off-track exploits. Their story is the subject of my nationally-acclaimed book, "The Pedestriennes, America’s Forgotten Superstars." These athletic pioneers overcame societal and physical obstacles to achieve remarkable records that even today, seem impossible. Although around only a few years, they laid the groundwork for the modern sports model, the revival of the Olympic Games and the suffragist movement. They are a marvelous study of persistence, determination, and triumph that still inspire.
