Seeing that digital media was the future Hallman founded Hallman Interactive productions. In the beginning, the HIP, Inc. created CD-ROM based programs and quickly started to build websites and other online marketing as the use of the Internet grew. Clients included CNN, Cartoon Network, TBS, BellSouth (AT&T), GlaxoWelcome (Now GlaxoSmithKline), and many others.

After selling his stake in Photo Communications, Hallman took over the Atlanta office of PCC and founded Corporate Media Communications. The fledgling office was just one-year-old at the time and had two employees. Within the first year of operation as CMC the company became the preeminent Event and video production company in Atlanta. In three years the company included marketing and advertising services and worked with the city's largest organizations including AT&T, BellSouth, IBM, First Union Bank, Equifax, Hitachi, Honda, Star Enterprises (Texaco), and many others.

in 1966 Hallman became the Chief Medical Photographer for The University of PA's Vet School. Aside from normal photographic work Hallman also provided support for scientific research programs including Leukemia Research. In 1970 Hallman and a partner founded Photo Communications Corp in Philadelphia nd provide the city's largest companies with audio-visual and photographic services. Within three years PCC had become the largest provider of audio-visuals programs and corporate events. Clients included AT&T, Honeywell, Sperry Univac, Opinion Research, McNeil Pharmaceuticals and many others.
