After a 16 year career in public relations, I left the industry in 2009 to fulfil a long-held ambition to move into winemaking. After studying for a degree in Wine Production at Plumpton College in the UK, and carrying out vintages in France and Spain, I founded Bodegas Tierra Hermosa, the first négociant-style wine producer of its kind in Andalucía, southern Spain. For more than 10 years we produced a range of award-winning and critically-acclaimed wines, exporting to multiple international markets, where we achieved a widespread on-trade and retail presence. This included a brand exclusively stocked in Waitrose, a premium UK supermarket chain. More recently, I have founded a new wine agency business with the celebrated Lebanese wine writer, Michael Karam. We represent exceptional wineries from across the Mediterranean basin and the Caucasus, helping them to find international importers/distribution channels.

ANDA was a generic Andalucían wine brand, inspired by the region being the most quintessentially Spanish part of the Iberian Peninsula and its immense popularity as a tourist destination.
