Offered a job from the Lenovo position because of my customer approach and product knowledge. Learned about all departments in the store, assisting colleagues from service to sales. From my high business sales, I became the first part-time business expert, providing our store with dedicated business assistance outside typical work hours. I was also the store's first aider. Assisted in service repairs with additional shifts when there were workforce requirements.

I am working as a student ambassador selected by the university to represent the School of Computing during open days; giving prospectus students an inside view on university life. I also get to demonstrate all the great things about Newcastle University, which made me fall in love with both the city and the university! I work part-time on some weekdays to provide support in promoting and running events for prospectus students, including international students.

Secretary 2020-21 and then elected President 2021-22. Implemented early change to increase society recognition and member uptake. Led FA training for Freshers' crew 2021 and created links within the wider Newcastle community.

I was elected for my participation in LINKS events and for reaching out to society members during the lockdown. My main responsibilities were to ensure all documentation was in order and events are properly planned with risk assessments, and liaising with the Northumbria LINKS society as we provide all events together. My manifesto expressed my passion and determination to focus on mental well-being and integrating fun activities for students to look forwards to each week.During a time of dramatically decreasing mental health, I am proud to see how our LINKS sessions impact students in our society, knowing that this will translate into providing higher-quality life-saving first aid.

I assisted new students in arriving and settling into the accommodation by showing them around the building and the amenities the building offers. I was also responsible for planning and delivering social events throughout the year to residents during term and holiday time until September 2020.

I worked at McDonald's for just over four years. I became an integral part of the weekend and holiday team, where I provided much-required relief for my managers. A part-time job to complement my studies at Bradford Academy and a seasonal job at Newcastle University.While working at McDonald's, I have been able to show off excellent verbal skills when working with my team or at the front-of-house where I serve customers confidently. I am retail-oriented from my experience, and therefore have the customer's experience at the heart of every task.

Promoted Lenovo products and provided technical training to employees on new products at Team Valley Curry’s and PCWorld, Gateshead. I assisted customers in choosing the right product for them and broke down computer jargon to novice customers, leaving them feeling comfortable with their decision.

As a Warehouse Operative, I was responsible for scanning items into the warehouse system before neatly folding and packing them to be transported to stores. I met the goals set to ensure I completed the work to the best of my ability.
