The Design Synthesis Exercise is the final project in the Aerospace Engineering BSc in Delft. As a teaching assistant, I was the first point of contact for the participating students for the day-to-day organizational and logistical aspects of the project.

My responsibilities included counseling and assessing two groups of six BSc students in the preliminary design of a mission to investigate the atmosphere of Mars.

During my internship at NASA Langley, I worked at the Space Mission Analysis Branch to design a tool for rapid high-level analysis of interplanetary missions. The resulting tool allows various unique constraints to be taken into account, such as the arrival and departure orbits around each planet in the mission.
