Ever since I was young I loved to solve problems. Every night before I went to bed my father and I would course through page after page of the dozens of riddle, brainteaser, and mystery books I had scattered throughout my room. It was the anticipation of tackling a new problem that particularly drove my interest. Every puzzle was a story waiting to be explored, where I would have to embark on a journey to think and apply myself in unique ways to reach the ending. Today I still problem-solve, except the world is my puzzle-book.As robotics graduate student, I hope to apply my passion for problem-solving to find innovative solutions to improve the lives of people worldwide. My dream is build new technologies and applications to accomplish tasks that people once thought were impossible. This is the ultimate problem-solvers goal.The best part is, the book is endless. There will always be another way to improve the world: another problem to be solved.
