I am an RTPI Chartered town planner and urban strategist with over twelve years experience gained in the UK and in Australia. My current focus is to demonstrate the power and importance of accurate and timely data to inform plan making and decision taking. I have a broad experience that includes urban regeneration and the delivery of large and complex approvals for major projects, the drafting of large scale policy documents, and the preparation of Environmental Impact Assessments. This is happening at a time when we're increasingly aware of the environmental impact of our actions, the fragility of our life support systems (food networks, clean air and water), and the potential impact of a collapse in biodiversity. We're experiencing a moment where these stresses are leading to social unrest and political upheaval.
