Site responsible for cost reduction, production systems maintenance and development, Metrics development and monitoring, manufacturing methods and efficiency improvements, production issue resolution & project manager for a $3.5million investment for complete product line overhaul using progressive furnace technology.

Description of Responsibilities:Responsible for a diverse workforce including 80 hourly workers, production planning, and quality control in a product finishing production environment. Responsibilities include managing four major paint lines (semi automated powder coat, automated liquid spray, manual liquid spray and electro coating), producing up to 12,000 agricultural and construction wheels per day. Key Achievements:• Increase in throughput from €5.5 million to €7 million ($7.6 million – $9.7 million) per month over an 8 month period• Successful rapid adjustment in workforce numbers and reallocation of labor to react to the global financial crisis• Specification, purchase, installation, commissioning and operation of new automated powder paint line• 19% reduction in external PPM’s ‘07 average vs. ‘09 1st 6month average.• Managed a team of 80 unionized hourly pay workers in a non-native language (Italian)
