Assessed each line item within the budget and immediately began to improve margins through streamlining staff, food costs, and other unnecessary operating expenditures. •Increased occupancy from 19% to 46% through redirecting marketing effort to longer term stay business clientele and ensuring repeat business through complete guest satisfaction.•Coordinated the efforts amongst design team, contractors, construction crews during hotel renovation. •Rebranded hotel to Wyndham standards with primary focus on directing the outfitting of 320 guest rooms with new hard and soft goods and related amenities.•Directed the completion of hotel public spaces including meeting rooms, indoor pool and exercise facility, guest room corridors, hotel entrances.•Recruited and trained new employees for all hotel departments, empowering them to provide attentive, high quality service for all our valued guests.•Jump started the sales initiatives to promote hotel in effort to start booking large group business for fiscal 2020 and beyond. Invited Group Leaders (Lost Business) to tour new facility, addressed their former concerns, booked $3.9M in business for 2020 with options for 2021-22.
