Project: Gothenburg Underground Metro (Sweden)This project consists of an 8 km double-track railway, incorporating 6 km-long drill and blast tunnel under central Gothenburg. Three new stations in the city: Gothenburg Central Station, Haga and Korsvägen.I have been involved in designing various components of the underground station i.e., base slab, external walls, concourse slab, roof slab and internal elements for Korsvägen underground Station.

Projects: April 2018-Present: Designing of Ahmedabad UG Metro (GMRC UG-1)This project consists Cut & Cover Ramp, TBM LS, Twin bored UG tunnels and two UG stations i.e. Kankaria and Kalupur. I have been stationed in Ahmedabad to represent DDC and to act as a Design Manager. My responsibilities include concept development & preparing detailed designs and get their approvals from LDC/GEC for D-walls, Station Slabs at various levels, OTE duct, Box design, Ramp Design, Lift & Staircase, Entry Structures, Ancillary Building & Temporary steel structures i.e. soldier piles, strut & waler etc. To provide design solutions for site related issues. Feb. 2017-April 2018: Designing of Mumbai UG Metro (MML-3, UGC04)This project consists TBM launching Shaft three UG metro stations. My job includes preparing of detailed design for steel structures used in temporary works i.e. to design supporting system for gantry girders, utilities passing through station area, strut & waler design at various levels of station having bottom up construction, connection and splice designs, secant piles with rock anchoring. Oct. 2015-Jan. 2017: Designing of Viaduct for Noida to Greater Noida Metro Train (NMRC NC01, NC02 & NC03)This project consists 30kms of viaduct and 22 elevated stations. My job includes preparing designs for different reinforced concrete components of Viaduct like piles, pile cap, pier, pier cap, portal and cantilever pier design for standard 36m I-girder and 27m U-girder type superstructure etc. To resolve site issues and preparation of special pile cap designs in case the utility is present under pile cap.Sept. 2014-Oct. 2015: Designing of Chennai Metro Stations (CMRL UAA01 & UAA05)The contract has 9 UG stations. My job includes preparing designs for underground metro station elements like station slabs i.e Roof Slab, Concourse Slab and Base slab, Staircase, above ground entry structures, ventilation shaft and foundation design.

I made research work at IIT (BHU) during final year of my masters (partially at TU Braunschweig, Germany) meanwhile I also got the opportunity to act as Teaching Assistant and i could learn how knowledge can be multiplied by sharing it. I wrote my M.Tech. thesis at Technical University of Braunschweig, Germany under DAAD scholarship (German Academic Exchange Service) sandwich program between Indian Institute of Technology and TU9. Title of thesis is "Validation of Patch Load Method for Across Wind Buffeting Effects of Guyed Mast". This work was done under the supervision of Dr. Mathias Clobes, Head of Structural Dynamics and Wind Engineering research group, TU Braunshweig, Germany. The work was later acknowledged by "Best Master Thesis Award'14" by 'Indian Society of Wind Engineering' at Thapar University.The TU Braunschweig (English: University of Brunswick – Institute of Technology) is the oldest university of technology (comparable to an institute of technology in the American system) in Germany. It was founded in 1745 as Collegium Carolinum and is a member of TU9, an incorporated society of the most renowned and largest German institutes of technology. It is commonly ranked among the top universities for engineering in Germany. Today it has about 15,500 students, making it the third largest university in Lower Saxony after the University of Göttingen and the University of Hanover.
