He has been a part of the technology push at Edelweiss group in Global Wealth Management right from its inception as Client Advisory Services in 2008 and his contribution is all over the technology architecture used in GWM. He brings to the table a combination of talents – the quest to continuously improve experience of users through technology, ability to do more ability to do more despite the occasional budget limitation and race against time and most importantly, the ability to inspire, motivate a team to get the best out of them for the organisation. His journey into the fascinating world of technology started in his childhood with an IBM PC 8088. He would spend his free time coding on GW Basic, Dbase and Foxpro before moving on to mainframes and object-oriented technologies. Turning his hobby into his profession seemed a natural choice to him and he spent the first half of his career in the manufacturing sector building ERPs and data warehouses for some of the biggest corporate firms globally. He switched to the BFSI sector where he not only built but also managed an offshore team.The thirst for learning and enhancing his understanding leads him to new challenges. He won some, lost some but definitely learnt his lessons from all.Harsh can be found moonlighting as a DJ playing his enviable collection of music when he is not tinkering with technology or thinking about solutions.

Delivered the revamped official website www.edelweiss.in on open source technology before the deadline packed with unique tech upgrades and features like easy to use guided investments, portfolio organiser, personalised reports and recommendations and readymade baskets of stocks reflecting an idea.

Today this application serves close to half a million clients every month.
