The mass flow rate was fixed at 2 Lit/min. • The efficiency of a flat-plate solar collector was investigated experimentally and achieved higher efficiency by using SiO2 Nano-fluid as a working fluid compared to water as a working fluid.•Published a research paper on “Enhancement of Thermal Performance of Solar Flat Plate Collector Using SiO2 Nanofluid” in i-manager’s Journal on Future Engineering and Technology in Vol 12 No. 4 on page number 33 to 40 in May- July 2017
