My career in the Sri Lanka Army was highlighted by commanding the SLC radar system, participating in the United Nations Mission in Haiti, and serving as a Staff Officer at the Military Security Branch, Army Headquarters, a Staff Officer at the headquarters of General Sir John Kotelawala Defence University, and Brigade Major at Infantry Brigade. These roles have equipped me with exceptional skills in strategic planning, execution, and international collaboration.In addition to my military background, I served as the Human Resource Manager and Stores Manager at Sri Lanka Army Apparel. I effectively managed HR operations and inventory control in these roles, ensuring efficient workforce management and optimal resource allocation. My responsibilities included overseeing recruitment processes, employee relations, and performance management, maintaining accurate inventory records, and streamlining supply chain operations.My academic credentials include a Master's in Geographical Information Systems & Remote Sensing, a Bachelor's degree in Electrical & Electronic Engineering, and a Diploma in IT System Support Level 2 from City & Guilds in the UK.
