As the managing director and founder of Iraaloom, I lead a social impact startup that creates eco-friendly products from post-consumer recycled or renewable material. Iraaloom is on a mission to reduce single-use plastic, promote a zero-waste lifestyle, and support small-medium clusters and artisan communities in the field of handicrafts and handlooms.With a background in biotechnology and biochemistry engineering, I combine my passion for art and science to design innovative and sustainable solutions. I have received multiple honors and fellowships for my work, such as the Best Social Impact Startup award by Kerala Startup Mission and UNDP, the WISE program by IITMK, and the Entrepreneur in Residence fellowship by IIM. My goal is to make Iraaloom's supply chain fully carbon-neutral by 2025 and to become India's largest responsible e-commerce platform for sustainable brands.
