Hello, I'm Harshal Chavan, a third-year civil engineering student at PCCOER College, Ravet, set to graduate in 2025. My academic path has been rigorously complemented by a hands-on internship at Know How School in Akurdi, where I stepped into the role of a Design Engineer. There, I immersed myself in the practical aspects of structural engineering, from analyzing and designing commercial structures to enhancing foundational durability.At Know How School, my role as a Design Engineer allowed me to make significant contributions to several projects. I successfully utilized ETABS to perform detailed analyses and designed robust structures that were both efficient and economical. One of my key projects involved redesigning a failing reinforced concrete foundation, significantly increasing its durability and service life. Additionally, I integrated Revit to create detailed 3D models of buildings, which improved project visualization and communication among stakeholders. My use of STAAD-Pro for structural analysis further enabled me to lead enhancements in the structural integrity of various projects, ensuring safety and compliance with all applicable standards."My technical acumen spans a wide range of crucial skills such as construction management, project planning, and cost control, complemented by software proficiency in AutoCAD, Staad Pro, Primavera P6, and MS Projects, among others. My role in organizing large-scale events has refined my skills in resource allocation, budgeting, and process scheduling, ensuring operational efficiency and financial transparency. Additionally, my multilingual proficiency in English, Hindi, Marathi, and elementary German allows me to communicate effectively across diverse teams and stakeholders, enhancing collaboration and fostering a multicultural work environment."
