Working on Core data tools as full stack developer, to support data services on Databricks. The application supports variety of data management tasks from scheduling and monitoring behind the scenes to providing UI for data engineers to configure data exports from relational databases as well as file drops to external vendors. I also work on application that provides monitoring dashboard for operations to monitor data services health.

Volunteered at CloudMyn, a cloud security and compliance startup. Developed Angular web application for security orchestration and monitoring solutions. I was responsible for building application from the ground up, choosing technology stack, building mockups and API contracts and interfaces. Also developed backend services for the application using Spring Boot. The application interacts with other AWS cloud native applications and services to provide security solutions like cloud compliance and vulnerability reporting.

Shipping Domain - Worked on "Pickup and Drop off (PUDO)" project for Australia and German markets.Worked as full stack engineer, writing backend software Rest Services to implement the project; as well as doing some amount of UI enhancements to support Email, AB testing and View listing changes to showcase the product.I was fungible and able to understand another team's UI code base and jump in to make necessary UI changes to showcase our new product offering. This proved critical for project release timeline. Shipping domain: I worked on conceptualizing, designing and building of new product "pick up and drop off" for UK market. It enabled sellers to offer and ship eBay purchases to near by Argos merchant stores, chosen by buyers. This provided buyers with flexibility to have their purchases held in store for pickup. This drove foot traffic to merchant as well as eased, last leg shipping problem.I worked with team to design the system and develop Rest services to interact with other existing shipping services. I worked on scheduling and automating batch jobs which would send reminder emails to buyers to pick up their packages. The design used configs and was scalable to other marketsI worked on customising PUDO to Australia eBay site. I independently worked on feature to introduce customization for buyers. I worked with product in using a well defined list of postal codes, to provide customised behavior for buyers. Pickup feature would be provided to, only those buyers, living in reasonable distance to a pickup merchant store. Given Australia is wide and has bigger area for some rural zip codes, this feature helped with customer satisfaction. I also identified and solved some production problems that arised due to location, timezone and pickup address differences and tweaked services which was helpful during product expansion to other countries.

B2C Selling Domain Worked on enhancements for "Bulk Edit and Selling" UI tool built for sellers to bulk edit and relist listings on eBay. This is one of many seller tools tailored for bulk sellers. The tool had option for both single listing and multiple listings update to be done in click of a button. This is mainly used by large sellers and had spreadsheet feel to update multiple features of multiple listings. I was go to person for UI improvements on this tool and worked on all the UI enhancements making seller's listing experience better.I worked on building new feature to provide intelligent recommendation to sellers, to add "item specifics" to their listings. This was based on their item title, description and category information. This mainly was to enhance searchability of the listing thus enhancing sales.Traffic Domain -I created SOA services developed on Java using Maven build to provide server side support for eBay Browser extension. The extension was designed to assist as browser app to assist buyers in discovering eBay listings based on their search in the browser or the extension itself. The main feature of the project is "Document upload and File conversion" application, which is designed to implement the banking solution on the web to enable the Loan Applier to Apply for loans and upload the necessary loan documents online; it will allow people to remove the barriers of time and distance. Features:Provides the facility for the Loan applier to upload the necessary documents online within no time.A file uploaded is divided into 3 message objects and message objects are sent to Message Driven Bean, where they are stored in a database. The messages are then concatenated into a single document via their Message Sequence ID and File ID.
