• Handling regulatory correspondences, periodical returns as prescribed in Act, Regulations, Guidelines etc.
• Vetting of all product/ policy document/ marketing material to ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines
• Assist in any regulatory inspection and internal audit for compliance and other functions and follow up & close the observations.
• Providing interpretations on all the Acts, Rules,regulation and process applicable to conduct of business
• Facilitate Functional Heads to assess the compliance risk, develop actions plan and follow up on implementation
• Supervise the Implementation of AML regulations, Validate New Business and policy administration data, scrutinize application forms and prepare review reports and report STR/CTR cases to FIU (IND), Create/update AML.

• Domain Skills:
• Timely and smooth conduct of Northern Region Branch Offices with Ethics & Compliance Programs, applicable laws and regulation and Internal Guidelines through Sales office reviews.
• Implementing all compliance processes, guidelines, circulars and instructions issued from Head office to fulfil regulatory compliances in the region
• Review of processes for adherence to Compliance requirements including review of sales practices, advertisements and sales literatures through onsite and online sales office reviews
• Ensure compliance with the provisions of Insurance Act and other designate regulations and Driving Compliance agenda at regional and zonal levels to ensure compliance adherence levels are satisfactory
• Supervise the Implementation of AML regulations and trainings in the region as per MetLife policies, programs, circulars and Clarifications

• Domain Skills:
• Conducting concurrent reviews of regional and branch offices for compliance with defined SOP’s and resolving issues pertaining to processes within given time frames.
• Conducting periodical reviews of commercial underwriting process at HO as per IRDA requirements.
• Conducting regular reviews of claims process – retail, commercial.
• Streamlining processes by designing & modifying the existing processes / SOP’s thus ensuring the standardization.
• Providing advisory services for process re-engineering to reduce revenue leakage.

• Domain Skills:
• Periodical review of activities at branch and processing hubs as per approved plan.
• Conducting risk based reviews at HO on UW and identification of other risk prone areas
• Providing proactive inputs and support to RCU and Legal team to identify and eliminate fraud.
• Provide business inputs for plugging revenue leakage and improved customer service.
• Assisting legal cell in operational portion of motor accident claim settlement vis-à-vis Section 64VB
