AWS costs were reduced to one third of original cost despite multiple new features. After saturating hedge fund clients this product opened doors to sell Arc platform to new clientele, i.e. largeBrokers. Can scale from few dozen to few thousand jobs. Integrated with graceful exception management, business data alerts, app exception alerts as well datadog for metrics and radar for paging.

TECH* Designed and implemented Generic Reconciliation Framework in Java ecosystem backed by SQL Server. This is hosted on AWS serving multi-billion $ Alternative Asset Managers like Blackstone, JPM, D.E. Shaw. - Reconciliation at configurable granularity, comparison of composite economic attributes with pluggable data sources, persistence infra and delta processing were some core items. - Huge ROI in terms of writers processing time and memory consumption. Also time to write a new reconciler came down from few weeks to a day or two.·* Designed and implemented POC for ”SMART RECONCILER” ( In 6 weekends aside daily weekday work), an over-lay framework on top of reconciled data which simulates an Analysts (Human) role of resolving breaks/issues across recs via deterministic and heuristic techniques with substantiation.* Currently working on issue auto substantiation workflows across recs. BUSINESS* Designed, wrote and owned recon implementations of trades, positions and complex derivatives like Swaps. This also involved client discussions, data analysis and integration with P&L system(s).* Developer on-boarding specialist: I love to teach finance and served this desire by taking finance sessions for new joiners from college freshers to Engineering Managers.
