At the workplace I got exposed to the following professional horizons: • Descriptive analytics: I had to study the past trends of the retail stores and malls in a particular part of the country or continent (AMERICAS, EMEA, APAC) to know the general trend of footfall for a unit in the past as well with reference to the benchmarks established around the country/continent.• Diagnostic analytics: With the historical data given, I used to dig down deep on if the footfall ratio is dependent on just the days or weeks or if actions like customer feedback and feedback on employee satisfaction are required to access the situation further.Adding to this I used to prepare reports for senior executives and consultants exposing the anomalies and suggestions on what all data requirements can add to the assessment to come up with a logical solution to maximise revenue from a unit.
