1. Procurement of Aluminum Castings, Forgings, Machined Parts, fasteners & End fittings of Axicom.2. Handling of Sub-contracting services like Galvanizing, Zinc Plating, machining.3. Timely and accurate release of Purchase Orders to suppliers.4. Timely release of Forecasts to suppliers for their raw material planning. 5. Ensuring material supplies from suppliers on-time with necessary document.6. Measuring and improving lead times from suppliers.7. Triggering Vendor Development Team for new Supplier to counter possible bottlenecks, quality issues that might affect deliveries to end customers.8. Inventory control and reduction for pro-active actions to avoid obsolescence. 9. Ensuring continuity of Production by timely supply of material.10. Cost reduction by negotiations, volume consolidations & actual costing.11. Minimum two sources develop for each component with help of VD team.12. Short closed the order on monthly basis in system.13. Supplier visit for critical components once in month.14. Maintain the purchase order status by project wise.15. Standardize the supplier payments terms 60 days credit period.

- Part of Purchase Team- Study of Design, Drawing and Specification of product- Co-ordinate to localization of various parts like sheet metal, aluminum sections, fabricated parts, plastic parts, fasteners related to Metro interiors.- Co-ordinate with European counters part for Technical assistance to develop cost effective product in India. It involves Design study, Quality aspect, Time Study, Assembly line set up, Supply chain, Product Costing etc.- RFQ/RFP generation to potential supplier.- Customization of product as per Indian customer.- Engineering support in development and production of precision air duct assembly.- Development and customization of parts for New Delhi Metro & Chennai Metro.- Also responsible for all indirect purchase which are useful to support production line like pneumatic tools & Spares.- Regular follow-ups for safety stock margin to avoid shortages and last time fire fighting.- Also handle the Global Projects from our India’s plant.- Follow ISO 9001:2008 rules
