Key Accountabilities (TOYOTA BOSHOKU AUTOMOTIVE INDIA PVT. LTD.) ••Design & Development of Seating Systems (from initial stage till start of production)••Creation of BOM of Seating Systems.••Design & development of Sheet metal components, Poly Urethane Foam & Plastic components, Parts as well as assemblies- 3D modelling & 2D drawing (with appropriate GD & T).••Design & Development of Functional parts like Track assembly, Lock assembly etc.••Design & Development of Trim Covers, 2D drawing & also have conducted “Wrinkle Zero” activity which aims to have wrinkles as less as possible (especially for Leather seats).••Conducting Regulation compliance study, Tolerance study, Stack up story study, Packaging study, Workability study. ••As Resident Engineer (design representative) in the Plant to ensure smooth operation before Start Of Production (SOP), study the issues Encountered before SOP stage, analyze find root cause determine countermeasure & issue Engineering change Instruction (approved in Japan).••Support Plant with Problem solving.••Conduct VA VE activity.••Benchmarking- Market research, Tear down & reporting for cost estimation of parts.

Have to work on the basis of EWO’s (Engineering work order’s)which is accessed by a java based software called E2, Have to thoroughly study the EWO’s and Implement the changes stated in the EWO’s by using UG, TEAMCENTER. Responsible for the Creating and editing of the MPD’s (manufacturing process document). Based on these documents only the assembly process in the plant is carried out. MPD’s are created by using internal software’s along with UG TEAM CENTER, and UG VISMOCUP. MPD’s provide the complete information of the assembly process. Posses the knowledge of the basic structure of the vehicle i.e., knowledge about the VPPS levels and knowledge about the process that is carried out in the plant.

Key ResponsibilitiesResponsible for the whole project of the Design & Development of the new products viz. Drying solutions & Ironing Boards, designing involves designing and drawing all the parts of the assembly.Design is mainly reverse engineering.Designing is done by using Catia V5 and drafting is done using autocad .Also responsible for the Production of the prototype & its inspection .
