As an aspiring Cybersecurity Professional, I am passionate about protecting sensitive data and networks from cyber threats. With a focus on Windows, Linux, and Web Applications, I possess a good understanding of common threat analysis models, including the Cyber Kill Chain and MITRE ATT&CK Framework.As a Cybersecurity Intern at the Defense Research and Development Organization (DRDO), I developed an Automated Information Security Auditing Software using Python that audits a system and scores it based on pre-set parameters. This software is currently being used in over 100 labs of DRDO across India. Additionally, I also developed a dashboard using PHP and MySQL, which takes in data from the auditing system and provides meaningful insights to the administrator.I have also assisted application teams in understanding and resolving vulnerabilities identified through penetration testing. I am also able to perform well under stress, particularly in critical response situations.As an Information Security Engineer at Monotype, I've conducted thorough Penetration Tests and Security Assessments on various Web Applications and APIs, addressing major vulnerabilities aligned with OWASP top 10 standards. Employing dynamic and static analyses of code using tools like Burp Suite, SAST, and SCAs, to ensure comprehensive security coverage. Collaborating closely with the engineering team, I proficiently help resolve identified vulnerabilities through effective communication. Additionally, I've crafted and implemented comprehensive threat models, seamlessly integrating projects into the Secure Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).In terms of my education, I am pursuing a B.Tech in Information Technology from JSS Academy of Technical Education, with a GPA of 7.00. I have also completed various cybersecurity courses, including Active Defense & Cyber Deception, Getting Started in Security with BHIS and MITRE ATT&CK, and Applied Cryptography Specialization.My technical skills include C++, Python, Linux, Bash, PowerShell, and cryptography, among others. I have also completed a project on detecting obscene objects classified as NSFW content using Neural Networks.I have completed 30 hours of training in Computer System Security using the Prutor program of IIT Kanpur.
