Collected soil and water samples aspetically from various salt effected sites of India.2. Isolation of bacteria from salt stressed soils and water 3. Screened the sulfur oxidising bacteria using biochemical and microbial enzymatic studies for their sulfur oxidising property4. Conducted lab and field expriments so as to check the efficacy of selected isolates.5.Testing of crop physiological and biochemical parameters and soil parameters with respect to any change after treatment with sulfur oxiding bacteria
