A Chartered Accountant from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI), I started as an Article trainee at mid-sized CA firms and gained exposure across the compliance roles – Statutory audits, Taxation and Transfer Pricing.Post qualifying CA, I joined Investment banking – Corporate finance team at Centrum Capital as an Intern and grew to the Senior Analyst position, spending a major amount of my time covering Edtech, Consumer, and others. I have experience working across early and growth stage equity fundraising, M&A – Sell-side as well as Buy-side. A strong inclination towards sustainable businesses solving real challenges in core sectors led me to Aavishkaar Capital. I covered a few key sectors viz. Agri, Financial Services, Logistics, Education, and others. Assisted Investment Managers in deal sourcing, evaluation, execution (Chqbook, Ergos, GoBolt), portfolio management (AgroStar, GoBolt) and LP reporting. At Brand Capital - The Times of India Group, I covered consumer and primarily the sunrise sector that required awareness and trust capital. In my previous role, directly worked with Ashish Fafadia in Partner's office at Blume Ventures.
