• Protect enterprise systems and information by promptly responding to and remediating security threats and incidents escalated via automated alerts, emails, phone calls, or other various escalation methods.• Work with firewalls, intrusion prevention systems, Web Application Firewalls, Anti-Virus, Security Incident and Event Management, vulnerability scanning and other key threat countermeasures.• Act as Tier 2/3 incident responder for escalations from 24×7 operations and assist with real-time, continuous security event monitoring response, and reporting.• Perform forensic analysis, uncovering attack vectors involving a variety of malware, data exposure, and social engineering methods.• Support day-to-day cybersecurity threat detection and incident response operations, reviewing, revising, and tuning automated alert data and response playbooks as needed. • Actively hunt the enterprise for threatening, suspicious, or malicious activity. • Discover, update and maintain automated alerts and response guides for accuracy. • Lead security-driven projects dedicated to improving Flatiron Health's security posture. • Maintain Incident Response incident response playbooks, processes and workflows, and tools• Research and analyze data sources to provide insight into new trends against the environment collaborating with other members of the IDR team• Demonstrate effective communication skills, both verbal and written.• Provide security-relevant recommendations and guidance to Legal, Privacy, and Compliance during both security and non-security related incidents.• Conduct comprehensive Mac and Windows forensics, leveraging advanced investigative techniques to identify and mitigate security threats
