Hi, this is Harsimran here I am studying at Seneca College and volunteering at Fruitful House (food bank) working at the placement and learning from college has allowed me to learn and achieve many skills over time. I am a social service work student who is motivated to improve the lives of others. My current areas of interest include senior and mental health. I'm determined to use the abilities and knowledge I've received from my classes and placement experiences to support people in receiving the care they need as future social service workers. Case management, advocacy, the fight against oppression, and cognitive behavioral theory are some of the topics I'm concentrating on. I intend to work as a case manager in a hospital once my program is over. As a social service professional, I am eager to develop more and continue learning in order to better the lives of those in need.
