About Harthik Reddy

As a graduate student of Northeastern University, I am pursuing my MS in Biotechnology with a focus on upstream process development and vaccine manufacturing. I am passionate about applying my knowledge and skills to advance the field of gene therapy and biologics.Currently, I am working as an upstream process development co-op at Solid Biosciences, a biotechnology company that develops therapies for Duchenne muscular dystrophy. I assist the supervisor in designing and executing experiments for optimizing AAV vector production, using various bioreactor systems and analytical instruments. I also monitor and maintain mammalian cell culture processes, conduct cell growth and metabolite assays, and sequence batch records data using statistical software. Previously, I worked as an executive at Biological E. Limited, a vaccine manufacturing company, where I reviewed control records, executed fermentation batches, performed in-process control tests, and calibrated essential probes. I also worked as a research associate at Aurobindo Pharma Limited, a pharmaceutical company, where I was involved in setting up, operating, and troubleshooting fermenters, preparing media, inoculating cells, monitoring upstream process parameters, optimizing fermentation process, and conducting primary recovery operations.Through these experiences, I have developed strong skills in transfection, vaccine manufacturing, ambr 15, cedex-BioHT, osmometer, SIMCA, MODDE, JMP, Sartorius MCPS software, and GMP compliance.
