I believe we are put on this earth to find common ground & empower others to be at their best. I am passionate about creating spaces where clients are delighted in the project outcome. For me, design is about the occupant, not the architect. My dad was a contractor & I spent the bulk of my childhood on construction sites. Being an architect is all I ever wanted to do. My leadership, design, & management skills have helped facilitate the execution of large projects including highly technical & complex MEP support systems as well as difficult schedule challenges. I thrive with the challenge of a project that seems too hard to do & enjoy the satisfaction of seeing how it can get done. I am proud to be a Lieutenant Colonel (retired) from the Texas Army National Guard, after serving 22 years. My deployments include Bosnia, Iraq, & Afghanistan. My military career ran concurrently with my architecture career & I am fortunate to have been supported by a great firm as I served my country.I have served on several non-profit boards, worked with the AIA Committee on the Environment, & have chaired the NTX Sustainable Showcase. I am a Leadership Dallas alumna & have served with the Dallas 2030 District. I have volunteered with several non-profit organizations to promote equity, diversity, as well provide support to our veteran community.
