News release:Please join me in welcoming Mr. Michael Hart to the Patient Care Services Senior Leadership Team as Chief Nursing Information Officer. Mike will have responsibility for providing oversight to clinical information projects throughout the organization. This will include facilitating in the development and implementation of automated systems used by clinicians, participating in clinical process planning and integration, as well as guiding overall clinical informatics applications. Mike comes to Arkansas Children's Hospital with a tremendous amount of experience in Clinical Informatics, more recently serving as Clinical Informatics Coordinator for the Central Arkansas Veterans Healthcare System. In addition to his experience with software development and applications, Mike has clinical health care background as a Registered Nurse and has been involved in a number of national boards and committees dedicated to the advancement of technology in the clinical arena.
