Formed a top-tier executive team while growing the company from 5 employees to 100 FTEs, winning the TBJ's 'Best Places to Work' awards from 2016-2020, including #1 overall company in NC in 2018.Successfully exited in 2018 to a NY-based private equity firm, netting the largest historical IRR for the two venture capital funds invested. Prior to the acquisition, secured two growth equity rounds and then debt funding to drive top line revenue growth while tightly managing CAC and gross margins to maximize returns for shareholders. Post acquisition, led additional debt funding rounds to continue to scale the business and fuel growth. Oversaw ground-up new platform development initiative, which culminated in the successful 2019 launch along side a strategic Adobe partnership. The platform was subsequently recognized by Forrester and Gartner as an industry leading offering in a highly competitive field of companies, many of which had received more than $100m in funding.
