In August of 2019, I began my second act when I was hired as the Music Specialist at VAVPA at the completion of my multi-subject teaching credential. Prior to teaching, I was employed as the Executive Director for the non-profit Rancho Santa Fe Garden Club, with the mission to support horticulture and conservation projects in North San Diego. Before that, I worked in Sales briefly for the Welk Resort San Diego. Past experience includes working as the Executive Director for the non-profit Actors Alliance, with the mission of connecting local artists with employment in the San Diego area. In addition, I worked as an Arts Educator for San Diego Opera, Lyric Opera San Diego, and La Jolla Playhouse. I have a broad range of leadership, performance, and teaching credits in the fields of Musical Theater and Opera both locally and throughout the United States. I received my Bachelor of Arts degree in Music from California State University Fullerton, and my Master of Music degree from University of Hawaii where I also taught several classes as a Graduate Assistant. I received my multi-subject teaching credential from National University. I am currently teaching Kindergarten at Kalaniana'ole Elementary on the Big Island of Hawaii.
