Over the summers of 2023 and 2024 I had the pleasure of working as a fly fishing guide for a remote fly out lodge in Alaska. I got promoted to head guide in my last month and a half with the lodge when the current head guide left for the summer. In addition to my regular responsibilities as a guide, this entailed me ensuring all lodge guests were happy with their experience, managing the daily plan for each group being guided, and maintaining propane supplies for the guest cabins and the main lodge. We worked together as a team everyday for the duration of the season spanning from June to late September to provide our guests with an Alaskan experience they would never forget.

Helped unload trucks and rail cars of paper rolls, steel coils, and lumber

I did a 6 week internship with Pacific Cycle, a bicycle shipping company. I worked eight to ten hours a day, five days a week. It was considered an internship focused on logistics and I mainly learned how items move to and from destination, to destination. I worked at a different position of their day to day process each week including how to drive a forklift.
