Develop students’ strategies for effective approaches to written, oral, visual, nonverbal, and group communication in business organizations and other formal and informal communication settings. Coordinate and oversee the operational aspects of the Professional Coaching Clinic for junior/senior level professional development. Also, facilitated freshman seminar for the General Studies Dept. Directly enhanced the freshman college experience by guiding students in academic goal setting, community involvement, career planning, personal wellness and public speaking.

Directed, developed and facilitated community service activities to promote student personal and academic success by enhancing curricular and co-curricular learning. Supervised 42 AmeriCorps members, 8 student project leaders and 1 full-time administrative aide, facilitated University Honors class, “Community Involvement, Citizenship & Social Change”, coordinated and oversaw Volunteer Fair generating 1,700 volunteers, launched MSU/America Reads program placed 50+ college tutors in K-8 classrooms.

Designed, developed and supervised the selection and training processes for a staff of 70 Resident Advisors to include; recruitment, selection, retention, an eleven day fall training, three day off-site camp, monthly in-services, a MSU credited leadership course and day to day need based training. As a member of a four person departmental team, managed all aspects of a seven residence hall, 3000 resident system.
