After attending North Berwick High School I accepted a place at the University of Edinburgh in 2013 to study Sport and Recreation Management. During that time I was training with Scotland U20s, where I achieved one cap before injury which meant I was out for the remainder of the campaign.I got my degree in the summer of 2017 and I was offered a part-time contract with Scotland 7s. I got my first full professional contract a year later. I have achieved 27 caps and played in all 7s World Series locations. As well as, 2x 7s World Cups and a Commonwealth Games. I have also rekindled my interest for art and design. This came about during lockdown when I was trying to find ways to keep busy. However, I kept it going alongside training and have been taking commissions, and also have a couple of pieces up for sale in a local art gallery (Henderson Artshop in Stockbridge).
