I am a community and events organizer, researcher, and editor. I hold a BA in Literature from the University of North Carolina-Asheville and a Master of Arts in Critical Craft Studies from Warren Wilson College. Raised in the wetlands of coastal GA, my writing and research draw from my experiences in the South with roadside food stands, family ephemera, flea market snacks, and small-town kinship.I am currently working on a research project that highlights craft fairs as relational networks of support and gathering oral histories from countercultural crafts communities across WNC and California. In my organizing role, I've worked with brilliant collaborators to bring to life notable events for global and regional brands such as Google, D&B Audio, Bath & Body Works, Garden & Gun, Olivette Farms, and worked with a number of groups-friends, families, colleagues, strangers-to organize intimate and elevated farm-to-table dinners and meaningful gatherings.Outside of events organizing, you can find me hiking and gardening with my husband Matt and our dogs Nova + Maple, watching sci-fi films, or honing my savory pastry baking skills.
